An object gains its true value from the story it carries across generations. Everything this house makes is held to that standard.
In 1967, Jeffrey Mendelsohn's grandfather received a watch. His grandmother had it engraved.
Decades later, it is not the metal that makes that watch precious. It is the inscription. The hands it has passed through. The story it carries.
That heirloom set the standard Founders Republic is held to: an object gains its true value from the story it carries across generations.
Founders Republic began as a sketch on paper. No watch industry pedigree. No inherited infrastructure.
Jeffrey built the house the long way: an international manufacturing and sourcing network assembled from the ground up, and the first chapters and their companion medallions designed by his own hand, each honoring a moment the Republic must not forget.
Every edition is struck once, individually numbered, and limited to 1,776 examples worldwide. Three chapters are live. More are being shaped.
"I didn't start Founders Republic to make watches. I started it because I've always believed that the American Republic is not something we simply remember. It's something we carry, preserve, and pass down to future generations through the stories that shaped it."
Founders Republic was named a winner of the 2026 Entrepreneur Awards, judged on originality, traction, and one standout achievement. In the panel's words: recognition honors "the execution required to build a luxury heritage house without traditional watch company infrastructure."
The Republic does not carry itself. It endures only if we carry it forward.
