These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of frwatchco.com and any reservation, purchase, or service offered by Founders Republic Watch Co. ("Founders Republic," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing the site or placing a reservation, you agree to these Terms.
If you do not agree, please do not use the site. We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
Founders Republic Watch Co. designs, produces, and sells heirloom timepieces and companion medallions. Each chapter's timepiece is offered as a Heritage Edition of 1,776 individually numbered pieces, never reproduced once an edition is filled. Medallions are not numbered or limited and remain in production.
Each Chapter Set (timepiece + companion medallion + presentation items) is offered through reservation. Standalone medallions are available for direct purchase. By placing a reservation for a Chapter Set, you are committing to acquire a specific numbered timepiece within that chapter's Heritage Edition of 1,776. Your reservation is confirmed when payment is processed and you receive an order confirmation by email.
Reservations are filled in the order received. Numbered serialization is assigned at fulfillment and bound to your name in the Republic Archive.
All prices on the site are in U.S. dollars. Prices are subject to change without notice, though reservations confirmed at a given price will be honored at that price.
Payment is processed through Shopify, our payment partner. By placing a reservation you authorize the charge of the displayed amount, including applicable taxes and shipping, to your selected payment method. Your card information is handled directly by Shopify and is not stored by Founders Republic.
Each chapter's timepiece is strictly limited to 1,776 individually numbered pieces. Once a chapter's edition of watches is filled, no further timepieces will be produced under that designation. We reserve the right to discontinue or suspend any chapter, but we will not exceed the 1,776 cap on watches. Companion medallions are not numbered and are not subject to the 1,776 cap.
We ship complimentary insured to addresses within the continental United States on every Chapter Set. International shipping is available on request through the concierge. Risk of loss transfers to you upon delivery to the carrier; full details are in our Shipping & Returns policy.
Each Chapter Set may be returned within 14 days of delivery, unworn and in original presentation. The individually numbered serialization renders each piece personal — once worn or engraved, sales are final. Cancellation of a reservation before shipment is available; please contact the concierge promptly.
All content on this site — including text, photography, logos, the Founders Republic monogram, chapter names ("The Founding Fathers," "The Lincoln," "The American Eagle"), taglines ("We The People," "The Republic Endures," "Liberty and Strength"), and proprietary designs — is the property of Founders Republic Watch Co. and is protected by United States and international copyright, trademark, and intellectual property law.
You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works without our prior written consent.
You agree not to use the site for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with site security, to misrepresent your identity, or to attempt unauthorized access to any account, system, or data. We may suspend or terminate access for conduct we determine, in our sole discretion, to violate these Terms.
The site is provided as is and as available. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Founders Republic disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Founders Republic shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or relating to your use of the site, your purchase, or your ownership of any product. Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the product giving rise to the claim.
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Founders Republic Watch Co., its officers, employees, and partners from and against any claims, damages, or expenses arising out of your breach of these Terms or your violation of any law or third-party right.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States and, where applicable, the State in which Founders Republic Watch Co. is organized, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any dispute arising from these Terms shall be resolved in a court of competent jurisdiction within that State.
We may revise these Terms at any time. The current version will always be posted on this page with an updated "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the site after a revision constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
